Marcella Helen Linberger

Marcella Linberger, age 75, of Ogilive, passed away Friday, February 4, 2022.  Visitation will be held from 1 - 2 PM on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at St. Kathryn's Catholic Church in Ogilvie followed by a prayer service at 2 PM.  Interment will take place at St. Kathryn's Cemetery at a later date.

St. Kathryn's Parish requires all attending services to PLEASE wear a mask

Marcella was born February 14, 1946 to Ludwig and Helen (Maxa) Cervenka in New Prague, Minnesota. She grew up in New Prague and graduated high school in 1963. She was married to her husband of 50 years, Benjamin, in 1964 in Jacksonville, Florida. Marcella worked as a bookkeeper for the school, a clerk, a typist at Data Control and a factory worker. Her favorite things in life were working in her yard and flower garden, where she tried to grow every flower that would grow in Minnesota and some that wouldn’t.

She was preceded in death by her parents;  brothers, Raymond and Roy and her husband, Ben in 2015.  She is survived by her sons, Ben (Shinell) Linberger and Mike (Carman) Linberger;  sister, Rosie Mitchel;  special friend, Tim McCoy;  grandchildren, Danielle (Dan) Weihrauch, Sarah (Jonathan) Grife, Rayann (Mike) Parish, Mike (Meranda Lener) Linberger, and Ashley Linberger;  five great-grandchildren, Hunter, Peter, Freya, Liam, and Charlotte;  also by brothers and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
