Marcene Theresa Seehafer

Marcene Seehafer, age 80, of Milaca, passed away Friday, August 5, 2022.  Memorial services will be held Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at 11 AM at Zion Lutheran Church in Milaca.  Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Milaca.  Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.

Marcene Theresa Seehafer was born November 8, 1941 to Joseph and Olivia (Schmitt) Schwertel in Galesville, Wisconsin.  She was united in marriage to Gordon Seehafer on March 11, 1992 in Big Lake, MN.  She worked in retail and restaurant management and also in healthcare.  She enjoyed sewing, baking, quilting, gardening, playing cards, and going to the casino.  She passed away peacefully at home Friday, August 5, 2022.

She is survived by her children, Mike (Darlene), John (Mitzi) and Stacey (Dale);  grandchildren, Philip, Camryn, Shanna, Codey (Abby), Tyler, Kaylee, Blake, Ciara, Ashley (Zach) and Tyler;  great-grandchildren Elizabeth, Aurora, Haven, and Jackson;  sisters, Virginia (Leroy), Joanne (Garland), Beverly, Janice (Tom), and Marlene;  also many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her husband Gordon and son, Mitchell.
