Mathew Timothy Rahm

Memorial services for Mathew Rahm, age 26, of Milaca, will be held Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at 3 PM at Milaca Evangelical Free Church with Rev. Tom Sahlstrom officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.  Interment will take place at St. John’s Cemetery in Foley at a later date.

Mathew Timothy Rahm was born September 12, 1991 in St. Cloud, MN to Tim and Tania (Marquardsen) Rahm. He grew up in Foley and graduated from Foley High School in 2010.  Mat bought a home in Milaca and has worked at Performance Foods in Rice, MN for seven years. He loved to outdoors, deer hunting, fishing, four wheeling, watching baseball and spending time with his family.

Mat was a wonderful son, a great brother, and proud uncle.  He was kind and soft spoken and a very generous and giving person.  Mat loved God and prayed and read his Bible every day.

He is survived by his mother, Tania Rahm of Milaca;  sister, Ashley (Tom) Brown of Milaca; siblings, Thomas Rahm, Dylan Obrian and Ashley Obrian all of Lake Lillian, MN;  nephews, Tyler Brown and David Brown of Milaca;  grandparents, Bob (Donna Mae) Rahm of Foley, Joy (Gary Grant) of Onamia and Bernie (Jane Marquardsen) of Milaca;  great-grandmother, Joyce Vanderplaats of Milaca;  also by many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Tim Rahm of Foley;  great-grandparents, Clarence Vanderplaats, Hans and Edith Marquardsen and Lawrence and Mary Rahm.
