Patricia J. Maro

A memorial gathering for Pat “Grandma” Maro, age 84, of Milaca, will be held Friday, September 22, 2017 from 5 – 8 PM at Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home in Milaca. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family. Patricia J. Maro was born June 11, 1933 in St. Paul, MN to Victor and Cora (Foss) Rowe. Pat was head cook at Milaca Elim Home for thirty years. She most recently worked at Coin Tainer in Milaca.   She was united in marriage to Fred Maro on June 23, 1979. Pat passed away on Friday, September 15, 2017 at Milaca Elim Home. She is survived by her children, Rodney (Nancy) Brown, June Brown, Joan (Bill) Sullenger, George Brown and Patricia Caron; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; also by many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fred; brother, Harold; sister, Esther and son-in-law, Issy Caron.
