Memorial services for Ruth Mycue, age 66, of Milaca, will be held Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 11 AM at Zion Lutheran Church in Milaca with Pastor Jon Olson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. Ruth Norma Mycue was born December 25, 1950 to Edwin and Edna (Kreger) Rosnow in Princeton, MN. At the age of 16, she was a live in nanny. On January 25, 1969, at the age of 18, she was united in marriage to Duane Mycue at Bethany Lutheran Church in Princeton. Thirty days later, Duane left for boot camp. That summer when Duane was serving in the Army, Ruth lost her first child. When Duane returned from the service, they made their home in Princeton, where two more children were born. In 1974, they moved to a farm in Bogus Brook Township, where she lived out the rest of her life. Throughout her life, she babysat dozens of children. She was involved in 4-H for many years. Ruth always loved entertaining people. She enjoyed crocheting, crossword and puzzles. Most of all, she loved and adored her family. They were her world. She passed away on Friday, December 1, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. She is survived by her husband, Duane; children, Kim (Deon) Wills of Milaca and Chris (Kathy) Mycue of Milaca; grandchildren, Emily (James) Milligan of Milaca, Kevin Mycue of Sauk Rapids, Sarah Mycue of Milaca, Lauren Mycue of Milaca, Adam Wills of Milaca, Claire Mycue of Milaca and Jenna Mycue of Milaca; great-grandchidlren, Keegan, Max and Rogen Milligan; sister, Lois Good of Superior, WI; also by many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Thomas and sister, Myrna Stob.
