Ruth Elizabeth Paulson

Funeral services for Ruth Paulson, age 92, of Foley, will be held Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 11 AM at New Life Church in Foley. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Interment will take place at 10 AM on Monday, February 12, 2018 at Estes Brook Cemetery.

Ruth Elizabeth Paulson was born March 20, 1925 to Christ and Olga (Peterson) Larson in Westbrook, Minnesota. She was united in marriage to Charles Paulson June 17, 1949 at the Milaca Baptist Church. The couple made their home near Foley, where they raised four children. She devoted much of her married life to farming with her husband.   Ruth also was employed by the Milaca Garment Factory and Fingerhut. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cooking, attending bible studies and spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. Many people benefited from her love and skill of baking. Early in her life, Ruth trusted the Lord as her personal Savior and enjoyed her walk with Him.

She made her journey home on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 while at the Milaca Elim Home.

Ruth is survived by children, Steven (Andrea) of Foley, Kathy (Harry) Wells of Becker, and Terry (Michele) of Milaca; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Barb of Foley; also by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles; eldest son, Stanley; three brothers, Richard, Howard, Wayne and sister, Grace.
