Shirley Ambrosch

Shirley Colleen (Warren) Ambrosch, formerly of Ogilvie, passed away at the age of 84, on August 22, 2024 at the St. Clare’s Living Community of Mora surrounded by family. 

Shirley was born on June 26, 1940 to Glen and Geraldine (Jones) Warren of Onamia. The family then moved to Princeton where Shirley and her siblings lived and attended school.

Shirley married Robert Alfred Ambrosch, Sr. on April 11, 1958. To this union, six children were born. Shirley enjoyed gardening, cooking, oil painting, reading, and going for walks. During her time at St. Clare’s Living Community, she enjoyed her music and bingo activities and social resident gatherings. 

She is survived by her husband, Robert Ambrosch; children, Sue (Bruce) Wallin, Robert Jr., Katherine (Randy) Walker, Pat (Wendy), Lucinda (Dale) Taylor, and Daniel; siblings, Charlotte Hunt and Donny Warren; 18 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Geraldine Warren, and brother, Glenden.

A celebration of Shirley’s life will be held at the Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home on Friday, October 4, 2024 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
