Thomas Edwin Olson

A memorial service for Thomas E. Olson, age 58, of Milaca, will be held Friday, May 10, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Milaca with Rev. Joyce Slostad officiating. Visitation will take place one hour prior to services at the church. 

Thomas Edwin Olson was born November 13, 1960 in Milaca, Minnesota to Paul and Florence (Anderson) Olson.  Tom was a lifelong resident of Milaca.  He managed the Alfred Olson Department store.   He was united in marriage to Lorraine in 1996 and they spent many years together before divorcing in 2017.  Tommy’s passion was training and breeding dogs for competition and his dog kennel business meant a lot to him.

Tom enjoyed fishing, golfing, the outdoors, spending time with family and friends, listening to music, and reading.

He passed away April 26, 2019 at the Saint Cloud Hospital.

Tom is survived by his step-children, Lawrence (Bobbi) Gave of Milaca, Wally (Misti) Gave of Milaca and Georgina (Jeremy) Wredberg of Milaca; step-grandchildren, Taylen (Jaquaha) Gave, Laura Gave, Jessica Hohnwaldt, Kayla Gave, Madelyn and Cole Wredberg;  great-grandchildren, Thaniel, Elio, and Nalinaa; brother, Rick (Lynne) Olson, sister, Jeanne (Robert) Morris, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
