Tim Johnson

Timmy Steven Johnson, age 64, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2025. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at 11 AM at Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home in Milaca. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Louis Cemetery in Foreston.

Tim was born November 28, 1960 to Donald and Nora Johnson of Champlin, MN. He met his wife Vickie in the spring/summer of 1979 in Longville, MN at Vickie’s stepdad’s cabin. They were married May 23, 1981. Their son, Jeremy, was born October 15, 1981. Tim and Jeremy work together on many projects. There was nothing the two of them couldn’t fix with whatever they had. Tim spent many years working, then managing machine shops. Tim had a great love for life and his family. He loved to spend time with his family at their cabin in Minong, WI. He enjoyed helping everyone and for 17 years, he led a community Christmas Day meal. Tim had many horses, dogs, and other animals and Jeremy cleaned the stalls a lot. Tim’s farming expanded to cows, pigs, chickens, turkeys, and recently reptiles. Tim loved to spend time outdoors fixing machinery any way possible. Tim was with diagnosed stage 4 prostate cancer on November 23, 2009. He fought longer and harder than ever imagined but always with a smile. His saying to the end was never give up!

He is survived by his wife, Vickie; son , Jeremy and daughter-in-law, Pam; wonderful grandchildren, George and Nora; sister, Nancy and husband, Gordy; brothers, Scott and wife, Trish and Don and wife, Rita.

He was preceded in by his parents, Donald and Nora; sister, Denise; brother, Mike;  mother-in-law, Lorraine and husband, Paris.

Tim will be greatly missed by all.
